This file cabinet was designed and built to be functional art for the home. The case is elm and the drawer fronts are carved poplar. The drawer sides are rock maple used for its hardness. The support rails are black locust. The finish is tung oil over a light stain. (Click on pictures to enlarge)
This table was constructed from a salvaged 120 year old elm tree. It's 42" x 82" x 29"h. See more pictures.
